You will be supporting the business development team in the full recruitment life cycle of staffing on international projects and donor bids preparation and in the tasks related to the recruitment of consultants. You’ll be also part of the team managing request for proposals of the framework contracts we are currently engaged in.
The recruiter role will be focused on supporting the Stantec business development team during the whole recruitment life cycle in the context of preparation of bid for donor funded projects in several sectors such as climate change, energy, water and in the recruitment and selection of consultants for framework contract requests. You will report to our Head of Recruitment.
The role will include
- Assist the Business Development team with the development of job descriptions and posting advertisements on a variety of job boards and social media, where applicable;
- Assist with sourcing appropriate candidates through Stantec’s internal expert database, other internal and external networks, industry events and online media such as LinkedIn;
- Collecting the necessary employment certificates and diplomas from the key experts and cross-referencing with the information on the CV for the submission to the client;
- Assisting in formatting and writing award-winning CVs;
- Perform other administrative recruitment tasks as directed by the Business Development Director.

Requested profile
Applicants should as a minimum have the following qualifications and skills:
- A past similar position as recruiter for technical assistance or as part of a framework contract team is a strong asset;
- Have previous experience recruiting for the EC or other EU Government institutions is highly desirable;
- Possess a very strong eye for detail to ensure CVs and confirmation documents are correct to the standard of the EC's Practical Guide (PRAG);
- An excellent command of the use of online platforms as sourcing tools;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Ability to multitask, often with inflexible deadlines;
- Strong ability in networking: able to develop sustainable working relationship with consultants/experts;
- Strong organisational skills;
- Experience in the field environment/energy/climate change or in a similar technical assistance environment would be considered as an asset;
- Languages: solid written and spoken English, French is an asset.
