ISN is looking for a full-time “Coordinator” to reinforce its ISN Programs team and contribute to the various tasks related to the daily coordination of some of our flagship educational activities directed to doctors in low-resourced countries.
The successful candidate will be exposed to a wide range of tasks in a busy international team ultimately supporting our leaders and members.
Are you inspired by these responsibilities?
Act as an interface between programs applicants, the relevant ISN Programs committees and our external partners
- Respond to general enquiries
- Organize online open competition rounds for doctors/ centers applying for grants
- Follow up on applications – including scoring and sharing feedback to applicants
- Liaise with relevant ISN Programs chairs, external partners and other ISN departments
- Follow up on funded programs and activities: collect & process reports
- Interact on regular basis with grantees: identify success stories as well as opportunities to keep them involved in the activities of the society and empower them to become ISN champions in their communities
- Schedule and organize meetings (both online and face-to-face) – including logistics, agenda and minutes
Assist with reporting and data integration into our new internal database (Membersuite)
- Assist in cleaning data and maintain data up-to-date
- Help with drawing dashboards and statistics on the various Programs
- Draft reports on ISN Programs activities for ISN leadership (describe activities, expenditures, challenges, next steps, …)
- Maintain and develop our online application portals
Work with the ISN Programs director to devise and project manage the transition of some of our programs into new (blended) training experiences to ensure their continued relevance in today’s circumstances and raise their performance standards
Provide backup administrative support to members of the ISN Programs team (on an ad-hoc basis) – such liaising with the US Office of Foreign Assets Control or providing support for the preparations related to the World Congress of Nephrology
Skill specifications :
The successful candidate is highly motivated by the ISN mission and fully dedicated to contributing and helping ISN make a difference and an impact. He/she will need to demonstrate:
- Oral and written native knowledge of English. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 2 years of experience in operational and administrative/secretarial tasks in an international environment, preferably in a medical society and/or not-for-profit organization
- Fully computer literate. Excellent knowledge of MS Office is a strong requirement, and experience with web-based administration tools such as Survey Monkey Apply and Membersuite is a strong asset.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and autonomously. Establish adequate priorities and follow them up.
