Personal Assistant to the Director
PURPOSE
To carry out administrative work on behalf of the director.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the director with his daily business and personal tasks. The role of the personal assistant is to free director’s time from organising and administrative tasks so that he can spend maximum energy on strategy, governance and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acting as a first point of contact
- Dealing with director’s correspondence and phone calls;
- Organising correspondence and following up on pending matters within limited
- directions;
- Co-ordinating and booking travel and accommodation arrangements.
- Scheduling of meetings, preparing relevant documents;
- Assisting with organizing events;
- Note-taking (meeting memos);
- Technical oversight: equipment and property management; supplies and repairs;
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS
- Administrative skills (including exceptional computer literacy)
- Management skills (incl. time, events and risks; communication; maturity to handle
- situations);
- Knowledge of, and empathy with, Catholic social teaching and Jesuit spirituality and
- charity;
- Knowledge of social networks and of the Mailchimp platform are an asset
- Languages: Fluency in English and (recommended) French; Slovenian or Croatian are an asset;
- Education: Master’s Degree in a relevant field, preferably in Business Administration;
EMPLOYMENT
- Contract (convention d'immersion professionnelle): Internship 38hrs/week 1
- Duration: November 2019 until May 2020 (with the possibility of extension)
- Reimbursement: €1.320/month (net) approximately
