Squaris is a European consultancy firm established in Brussels since 1999, specialised in EU Government Affairs and EU association management. We work on a wide range of areas including 5G & communication networks, crisis management, public health and road transport. Our team provides advocacy, representation & communication services, as well as legal expertise, to large organisations.
Squaris is currently expanding its activities and team. We are looking for a Policy and Project Manager, expert in the field of public safety technology or digital economy (telecommunications- 5G).
Your Tasks:
- Develop proposals for EU funded research projects in Security and ICT for public protection and disaster relief (Horizon 2020: 5G, communication networks, innovation);
- Manage EU funded projects (responsible for the preparation of deliverables, strategies and research);
- Develop policies related to the Digital Single Market and Security technologies in crisis management and emergency communications.
The consultant will work under the direct supervision of the CEO, in cooperation with the team.
Your Profile:
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the management of EU funded research projects (FP7, Horizon 2020) preferably in Secure societies or ICT;
- Experience in EU Digital Single Market or Security policies;
- English native speaker or equivalent (pre-requisite);
- Able to work independently as well as in team;
- Good senses of business development;
- Be intellectually curious;
- Good organisational skills and capacity to identify key issues, work under time pressure and think strategically;
- University education with a specialisation in EU affairs.
