The successful candidate will play a major role in Eurodad's exciting work to make public development finance contribute to sustainable development objectives. This means leading Eurodad's cutting edge thinking around maximizing the transformative potential of public development finance and addressing the use of development finance to leverage commercial financial flows. Currently this includes 'blended' finance, the financialization of infrastructure and public services and the role and initiatives of key institutions such as the European Union, International Financial Institutions, Development Finance Institutions and the United Nations.
The candidate will be responsible for research, advocacy and coalition building and will combine a strong vision on development finance with excellent policy analysis skills and a good understanding of how CSO coalitions can create transformative change. They will have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be self-motivated with the ability to plan and implement under their own initiative. They will have experience of working with advocacy focussed civil society groups or similar organisations. They will need to speak and write English to a very high standard.
