Analyst – Telecommunications Cullen International is the leading provider of regulatory intelligence in the communications sector, serving over 200 key market players and public organisations internationally with our unbiased, high quality analysis and support services.We are looking for a talented individual to join our outstanding telecommunications team which follows and analyses EU and national telecoms regulation.We are looking for a hardworking, professional person, who is willing to consistently adhere to our high standards and strictly neutral approach to analysis and who is able to work independently.Your responsibilities will include:
- monitoring and reporting on EU and national political and regulatory developments of telecommunications regulation
- answering enquiries from clients in industry and regulatory authorities
- providing formal and informal briefings to clients and colleagues
- promoting Cullen International and marketing its services to clients and prospects
In order to apply, you must have:
- a minimum of two to three years of experience working in an EU regulatory/public policy role in the telecoms sector
- demonstrable knowledge of the European regulatory framework on telecommunications
- ability to write and speak clearly and to the point about technical and complex issues
- willingness to travel
- confident manner and very strong presentation skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to build/develop contact networks
- a university degree in a relevant subject
- fluency in written and spoken English
- working knowledge of French is a plus.
