Job description:

  1. Coordination and support of the FENS schools programme
  2. Programme planner and event support person for scientific meetings
  3. Coordination and support of the Brain Conferences
  4. General administrative tasks, including database and budget   planning related to training and events
  5. The Training and Events coordinator reports to the Training & Meetings manager of FENS.

Qualifications and profile

  • You have impeccable language skills with a fluent command of both spoken and written English.
  • You are well organised and naturally team oriented.
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience, ideally within the area of event management or similar.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft suite (MS office, content management platforms)
  • You are ideally the holder of a professional or academic bachelor degree. Scientific background will be considered an advantage.
  • You are legally allowed to work in Belgium.

Location and Salary

The position of Training and Events coordinator is a full-time position (38h per week), based in the FENS office in Brussels. The job will require flexibility in terms of working days/hours in connection with events-related meetings and travel (within Europe). FENS offers a permanent contract (CDI, Belgium) with compensation according to the qualifications of the selected candidate. Meal vouchers are offered as part of the contract.
