We are strengthening our team in the field of External/Government Affairs at our location in Brussels for the topics Wind Power and Industrial Machinery.
Tasks:
- Representation of ZF's political interests with a focus on ZF's Business Units Wind Power and Industrial Machinery vis-à-vis political decision-makers, standardization institutions, industry associations and stakeholders;
- Supporting the External Affairs Team in developing lobbying strategies and company positions in coordination with the Division;
- Coordination of association activities for the division as well as regular participation in association meetings in Brussels and possibly Frankfurt;
- Monitoring and early identification of relevant political developments, legislative and standardization projects, and organization of a structured information flow with HQ;
- Network with decision-makers and other interest groups, especially customer associations, positioning ZF as a trustworthy industry expert.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in German and English;
- Network building capacity with regulators, associations and industry experts;
- Affinity to wind and/or engineering industries or standardization activities through first professional experience; technical background a plus;
- Enjoy working in an international environment in Brussels.
