About the position: main responsibilities
- Developing and executing communications, marketing and social media strategies including preparing online marketing campaigns, press releases, printed materials, social media posts and websites, among others;
- Developing and executing dedicated work plans for communications activities before, during and after events;
- Drafting and posting content across EBS digital channels including mass mailing systems, websites and social media;
- Ensuring the quality of all internal and external communications outputs including writing, proofreading, editing, correcting layouts etc.;
- Executing all communications requests (listed in contracts) from external partners of EBS;
- Negotiating and executing partnership agreements with various media outlets;
- Building strong relations and dialogue with the press and ensuring high press participation and media coverage of our events;
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the EBS Programme team;
- Other duties as requested.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 5 years of previous communications and marketing job experience, preferably in EU institutions, EU affairs sectors, think tanks or academia;
- Educational background in European affairs, political science, law or similar;
- Professional level written and spoken English, very good knowledge of French would be highly appreciated;
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels;
- Ability to prioritise and manage tasks simultaneously, often under tight deadlines;
- Exemplary sense of details while not losing focus of the overall scope;
- Positive attitude and outlook with the ability to combine creative and administrative work efficiently.
