Department
The Finance Unit is responsible for the management of finances of the EPP Group and gives necessary administrative support and professional advice in view of the implementation of the budget to services and staff members of the Group secretariat as well the National Delegations and their Members represented in the EPP Group.
Job description
The Financial Assistant fulfils a supranational function within the EPP Group Secretariat and carries out, under the responsibility of the administrator, the following functions and duties:
The post of Financial Assistant in the Secretariat of the EPP Group requires ability to work with figures, financial management and organisational skills, a methodical approach, a high degree of availability, discretion, adaptability to varying workloads as well as the capacity for teamwork in an international environment. Suitable candidates must, among other things, be capable of grasping wide-ranging problems and be able to respond rapidly to changing circumstances and communicate
effectively. Frequent travel outside the place of work is required, in particular several days per month in Strasbourg during the plenary session.

Conditions of recruitment
Recruitment will be as contractual agent in function group (FG) III for one year with a possibility of extension up to six years and basic salary ranges from 2.780 € to 4.550 € depending on the length of previous professional experience. Benefits apply.
