We are looking for a Project Manager to take responsibility for coordinating the delivery of complex projects and framework contracts, mainly in the areas of environment, climate change and energy. In this position you will get the chance to work on and lead projects for various EU institutions, for which we hold several framework contracts. Key tasks for this position will include the following:

  • Management of projects to budget while ensuring that deadlines and quality objectives are met;
  • Coordination of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams, including experts and partners;
  • Quality control of project deliverables;
  • Client orientation and conflict resolution.

Key qualifications:

  • A degree in economics, law, policy, environmental sciences or other relevant discipline;
  • A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in managing projects, in particular for the EU institutions, including:
    • Experience in managing large contracts (at least EUR 400,000);
    • Experience in the coordination of multiple project teams and external experts/subcontractors and partners;
    • Experience in managing projects covering multiple countries;
    • Familiarity with EU law or policy processes and EU policy fields, in particular environment or marine issues;
    • Experience in using data collection and analysis methods;
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
    • Excellent computer skills, particularly MS word, excel and power-point;
    • Excellent planning and organisation skills and attention to detail;
    • An independent, self-starting personality with a commitment to quality;
    • Strong organisational ability and excellent attention to detail;
    • Clear, concise and accurate writing skills in English, including the ability to review and edit the work of others.
