  • Performing some additional administrative as required by the Head of Administration. These could range from project management and processing of financial and other documentation to event organisation or induction of newcomers. These tasks may change depending on requirements as activities in this new EMBL site ramp up.

As our ideal candidate, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a scientific subject, with experience in science media and/or outreach in a science-based environment.

You have

  • Several years of experience in a communications and/or media-relations role, ideally in a science-based environment at international level;

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage conflicting priorities;
  • Able to work independently as well as in the context of a team;
  • A passion for science and the ability to communicate confidently and clearly about complex scientific issues.

You might also have
